Dutch rider Greve wins first class at San Patrignano
San Patrignano’s 12th CSI5* began today with a class reserved for young horses, sponsored by “Bracco”. Willem Greve on Uceline beat out the other twenty two horse and rider teams on the simple yet challenging corse designed with seven year old horses in mind by Swiss duo Rolf Lüdi and Heiner Fischer. The Dutch rider piloted the bay KWPN by Celano to a flawless round in record time – just 61.87 seconds. |

Dutch chalk up another win at the “Vincenzo Muccioli Challenge”
The Dutch team is in top forma s the competition heats up at San Patrignano’s CSI5*, winning three of the five classes held so far.Harry Smolders rode a clean and fast jump off (35 seconds) on Exquis Powerfee, winning the “Lazard” prize, repeating his victory in the small Grand Prix “Drugs Off” yesterday. Second place went to Swiss rider Pius Schwizer, winner of the show’s opening class, on the German Noblesse, just nine tenths of a second behind. Third place went to Germany’s Markus Ehning, currently eighth on the FEI workwide ranking list, riding the ten year old Hannoverian For Germany, just a second and a half behind the winners. The tight finishes only confirm the skill of the winning riders. |

San Partrignano: Puck wins Grand Chasse
Austrian rider Gerfried Puck rode to victory in the third and final class on the second day of San Patrignano’s CSI5*. Puck claimed the top spot ihe Grande Chasse category sponsored by “Fiera di Milano” on Koala di Prelet, a ten year old Selle Francias gelding by Ahorn, by riding clean in 61.38 seconds. In second place Italy’s Gianni Govoni riding Zamar Love Affair, another Selle Francias gelding by Quick Star. Govoni rode a fearless first round, picking up the challenge laid down by his Austrian competitor. What he gained in time, though, he lost in accuracy as he racked up four faults for a knockdown (remember, in this type of class knock downs equal time penalties) and 61.88. |

International Show-Jumping CSI 5***** in San Partignano
The world’s greatest riders return to San Patrignano for the 12th edition of the CSI5* “Vincenzo Muccioli Challenge” – the only such competition entirely organized and hosted by a therapeutic community, in this case Europe’s largest. On July 18-20, many of the FEI’s top ranked riders, such as Ludger Beerbaum, Marco Kutscher, Markus Ehning and Jeroen Dubbledam, will partake in three exciting days of competition, culminating in Sunday’s Grand Prix. Three hundred and fifty thousand Euro in prize money are on offer, 200 of which will be awarded on the final night of competition. |

Isabell wins KAMPMANN GERMAN MASTER
(mps) In the FEI world ranking list, she is on the places one and three with Satchmo und Warum nicht FRH, and with four Olympic gold medals, six world and – believe it or not – twelve European champion titles, she is probably the most successful dressage rider ever. With the victory in the KAMPMANN GERMAN MASTER, the Grand Prix Special, Isabell Werth also added the total triumph at the 23rd international STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS show to her impressing success record. |
